Internal Component Options

The standard FES-ESR is a single Cisco 5915 ESR with a console port and four routed Ethernet ports only. The Cisco 5915 ESR card uses only one of the available three slots provided by the FES PC-104 chassis. There are options available to integrate up to two additional boards inside the FES chassis to provide added functionality. Examples of this are:

• Video Servers
• Communications Boards
• Computers

Front Panel Layout

The layout of the connectors on the front panel may be re-arranged in accordance with the needs of the internal components, or customer requirements.
